Dear Metro Gas Customer
This is to advise you of an upcoming adjustment to our LPG cylinder pricing, which will take effect in 7 days.
Over the past period we have had multiple increases in our supply and delivery costs, including an 8% adjustment made recently. Since then, our long‑standing supplier has withdrawn our two‑year fixed‑price contract and introduced a new fuel surcharge. They have attributed these changes to global instability and the impact of the current conflict between the USA and Iran on international fuel markets.
We have worked hard to minimise the impact of these changes on our customers, but the combined effect of higher supply costs and rising direct delivery expenses now exceeds what we can sustainably absorb while maintaining the level of service Metro Gas is known for.
Effective Monday the 11th of May 2026, the price of LPG delivery and cylinders will increase by approximately between 8% and 12% across all cylinder sizes.
