Price Increase Notice

We are writing to inform you of an increase to your LPG supply price, which will come into effect from 1st June 2025.

This increase is across all cylinder sizes and will be between 6% and 7%.

The cylinder rental remains unchanged.

We know this news comes on top of other inflationary pressures and is not a decision we make lightly.

We have been absorbing increasing costs since October 2024, however, we can no longer continue to do this and have made the hard decision to now pass these on.

Why are LPG prices increasing?

A few of the factors that have a direct result on the price of our LPG supply price;

  • Increased cost of actual raw product from our supplier – sourcing raw product internationally due to increased customer uptake and declining local reserves to meet demand – exchange rate pressure on imported LPG which is tied to the US Dollar.
  • Inflationary pressures – i.e. Distribution costs, increased wage costs, holding costs.
  • NZ Carbon costs continue to increase (Emission Trading Scheme).
  • Increasing Governance/Compliance costs

While increasing prices are never great, we want to assure you that we will continue to deliver to our high standard of service that you have become accustomed to from our team
